Aidan Steele is a multi-disciplinary composer, performer, and sound designer from Devon, currently based in Leeds, UK. With a focus on live instrumentation, he explores the relationship between sound and image, working as a composer for film, contemporary dance, and exhibitions.
Commissions from Aesthetica Film Festival, Audible, and Wellington Film Festival have led Aidan to write and perform new scores for silent film classics such as F.W. Murnau's Faust (1926) and Edward S. Porter's The Great Train Robbery (1903).
